Position: ASSISTANT MANAGER – SALES
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree, preferably an MBA in Supply Chain Management or Sales & Marketing
EXPERIENCE: Must have 5-8 years of experience in International Freight Sales within the Karachi market
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding products, including import/export procedures, documentation requirements, and Incoterms.
- Ability to follow up with existing customers, provide sales support, and communicate effectively with customers and counterparts.
- Proficiency in profitability and yield management for assigned customer accounts.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
LOCATION: Karachi, Pakistan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve assigned sales targets in Freight Forwarding (FF) products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within the local market.
- Demonstrate expertise in FF products, including operations and pricing.
- Ensure recovery targets are met for assigned accounts.
- Manage profitability and yield for the customer base.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of satisfied customers to drive immediate business.
- Adapt to a challenging work environment and evolving market conditions.
- Gather client feedback on quotations to align with their needs and expectations.
- Strategically target potential clients based on branch objectives and market segmentation to drive business growth and revenue.
