About the Role:
The National Poverty Graduation Programme (NPGP), a collaborative initiative between the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Government of Pakistan, is seeking a visionary Programme Director to lead its impactful efforts in poverty alleviation. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive socio-economic transformation across 23 districts in Pakistan, working under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of NPGP’s poverty reduction strategies.
- Manage partnerships with eight organizations to ensure program alignment.
- Lead the Project Management Unit (PMU) to achieve developmental milestones.
- Monitor progress and ensure effective resource allocation for sustainable outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in social sciences, development studies, economics, public policy, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in senior program management, preferably in poverty alleviation, rural development, or government-led initiatives.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strategic planning and financial management expertise.
- Strong communication and advocacy skills.
- Mindset: Dynamic, self-driven, and passionate about social impact.
